From Goole twitter

@GooleAFC: @halesowentownfc Too early to call, all will depend on the amount of rain we get tomorrow, our pitch does have good drainage though.

@GooleAFC: @KevBarry1 Dry and breezy at present, heavy rain expected later and overnight. I think we should be ok for tomorrow though!

21:12 @GooleAFC No planned pitch inspection. No heavy rain as yet and we have a pitch that has great drainage.

This is one of the very finest things about Real Football (professional football being nothing more than Showbiz, long since lost to proper football fans), how the supporters of both sides communicate with a thought for the opposing club and its supporters .

KB - good on yer bloke. Have a George for your efforts O0

The first one awarded to an away fan I think?

Looks like it's on. No rain in sunny Huby and a 45 mile jaunt for me and YDJnr.
Should be in their clubhouse by about 2:30 for the usual gibberish.

Never been to Goole before, I suspect it's a bit unreconstructed. A big Brigg? A superannuated version of Colley Gate?

Anyhoo, the utterly predictable Biscuit reference http://www.chrisrand.com/hmhb/cammell-l ... oam-party/ and I'll see you merry travellers later.
