Sitting at the top of the tree is certainly a great feeling, credit to the players and management team in getting there. However, staying there will be even trickier. I've absolutely no doubt that we'll give it our best shot on the pitch but can WE as fans do more? The away game on boxing day isn't the easiest to get to in terms of distance and family commitments but the away game at Loughborough might allow some of us (me included) a little break away from the family stuff going on. It would be tremendous to get a similar kind of following there to what we had at Sutton for the two games. I've very kindly been offered a lift by a couple of folk I'm sure others too will help each other.
The home game on New Years Day hopefully will still see us top, so it would be great to see a bumper crowd of 500+ at the game. Can we all maybe inundate the local media over the next few days to help us out even more?

I certainly hear you AVFCYELTZ ! I cannot make the next 2 away games as my missus is off, will be at Chasetown at home and like you if we can stay top we could get a really big crowd.

Despite their great cup run them up the road have had lower home attendances than us just lately, they seem to be really hit and miss, but who cares eh ? I am so happy with the progress being made, the only thing I am unhappy with is that I cannot attend every game !

Although they have 3 games in hand I do feel Leek haven't had a bad patch yet and every team does have one so let's hope it's sooner rather than later.

Another good performance today, solid at the back, things are getting better and better.
