Is there a postponed game that could be re-scheduled for that date?

looking at the fixtures for that day then Sheffield looks favourite

So as it stands, would I be correct in thinking Ben will now only miss 1 league game? - Newcastle away?

I thought that had already been rearranged for December 21 or thereabouts? In any case Sheffield's game with Buxton in the trophy was postponed yesterday due to a waterlogged pitch and will now be played on Wednesday. That doesn't mean to say the league won't do any rejigging but I would have thought in a way the players could do with a Saturday off.

You are indeed correct Mr Wheels :) I saw the postponed game on the Friday, Sheffield v Gresley and had meant to type that Gresley away was the only likely looking option...but with my ever creeping senility I said Sheffield :o But I do agree that with young Benjamin away on his nuptials a day off would certainly be welcome ;)

If we are given a rearranged match, we could do with an away one, at the moment only 6 of last 15 are at home.

only problem is we lose match day sponsors if home changed to an away

Think we deserve a Sat off given the run of Sat, Tuesday, Sat, Tuesday games we've had. Seems like we're constantly playing!

What date is Ben unavailable from?

Ben is playing on Tuesday then he's away - although it's a bit sad we want a 'day off' when he isn't playing.

Would like to hear Brendan Kelly's opinion (or any other players who use this forum) on having a Saturday off when we are currently playing Sat-Tue-Sat-Tue... can't see what the problem is myself, as I wouldn't have thought they'd want a day off; they'd be trudging around Merry Hell like the rest of us.

What is the likely fixture that will get played instead, if any?
