Didn't last too long at Evesham. Not the greatest record.

Lasted long enough to disband part of our best midfield in years, Barney and Botfield. What would we be like if we still had them in the squad.

Botfield was always going to leave due to travel no matter what.

Perhaps management is not meant to be for some folk?

Wow. That must have been the most nail biting eight minutes of his life.

I have no idea about the aforementioned players but mean no harm...however I rate the likes of Tonsky, McKenzie, Martin, Gueyes, Turner etc.

You couldn't wish for a better midfield who give their all. I think we're blessed. Even if I'm 'new' as a regular.

That's in relation to ripping our best midfield comment above. Every cloud has a silver lining?

Trying to be nice. Mean no harm like I say :)

Barney was club captain last season and a Yeltz stalwart and won an award at the end of last season but did not score many goals.

Botfield was bloody awful at first and improved tremendously when a couple of fans slated him to the Yeltz staff - funny story that one but unfortunately can't go on these boards.

I won't exactly say that the pair of them would struggle to get in the first XI now but I know who I'd prefer in our midfield...

I think this seasons league shows exactly that this seasons team is an improvement. At the recent fans forum though it was fair to say that the Gaffer was waxing lyrical about the ability and attitude of Tom Warmer when questioned "If you could bring in one player, who would it be?"
McKenzie, Jephcott, Martin and the Tonks Machine is a pretty good mix of players all bringing different attributes to the central midfield area of the pitch.
