A few interesting results in the second round.
Stour came from behind to beat Sutton but we don't want them. A cracking result for Atherstone Town, beating Coalville may leave them as one of the lowest placed teams in it. They're in our area, so Atherstone at home please.

Two quick questions from me:
- When is the draw? Colin Murray said that we'd be in the draw a week on Monday if we won, but I would have thought it would have been on Monday again?
- Is it regionalised again or can we now get anyone?

Robbie Savage on radio 5 (6 o 6) have now adopted Atherstone as their FA Cup side to follow, so would be nice to have them.
It would be good gate wise if it was Sourbridge.
There are others such as Hednesford, Leamingingtn (Holeron Ex Manager), Worcester and Solihull Moors (Pete ex physio) so quite a few local possibilities.
Will be interesting what Monday brings.

Maybe we could get our mate Colin Murray to 'adopt' us for the FA Cup?

If the logic of the regionalised draw is followed then I reckon we can only get one of the following teams (the 'or' ties are replays this week).
Hednesford Town
Solihull Moors or Leamington
Atherstone Town
Stamford
Stourbr*dge
Brackley Town or Gresley
Gainsborough Trinity
Mickleover Sports or Corby Town
Worcester City
Daventry Town
Boston United
Rugby Town
Carlton Town
Basically it isn't going to be an easy tie whoever we get. Hope for home against equal / lesser opposition I guess. I'm not bothered with giantkilling if it means we can get through further.

Why wouldn't we want the Glassboys?
Would be great financially, and we can compete with them. Wasn't there for the friendly earlier this season, but allegedly we were the better side.
Like has been said above, whoever we get will be a tough task. I just hope for a home tie.

I think is the idea. They had been following Brocton, and picked up on us because we beat Brocton in FA1Q - or that's what sounded like on Friday. So it looks like we have been adopted for the duration of our involvement in the competition
