Hi guys, this is going to be my first ever game tomorrow and hopefully the start of a new team for me. I am looking forward to it since I moved to Quinton last week. I'm a huge Queen of the South fan, but I am not travelling up to Dumfries every other week! Please post any advice about anything that will help me fall in love with a new team, including the pie shop. lol

I'm a recent convert to football at this level having been a season ticket holder at Aston Villa for many years. I love the fact we play at 3pm every Saturday, we aren't messed around by TV schedules and the pitch isn't full of millionaires playing for the money not the love of the game.
I guess we all have our reasons for following The Yeltz, and I'm sure you'll find your own reasons. Enjoy the game, and thanks for choosing Halesowen Town!

No pie shop I'm afraid but the Yeltz Cafe on site sell a damn good burger. Sometimes the owner of the club even gets his barbecue out, truth.

Come and say hello tomorrow, I'll be selling programmes at the ground - you'll find that the fans are hospitable if not a little yampy (you will learn fluent Black Country by Xmas guaranteed) and there's the mighty fine Yeltz Bar next door; as a new fan you may be asked to press the red button on the TV screen next to the entrance of the toilets if the Sky box goes into standby mode...

You lot sound okay for a bunch of Sassanachs. lol

Seriously, I'm really looking forward to the game and yes "swipey" I will be buying one of your programmes, probably a Burger too! Do you serve bovril? It's bloody cold doon here ye ken. Talking about faggots, I went to the Pie Factory in Tipton a couple of weeks back and they have a Faggot pie on their menu - they also call it the Michael Barrymore pie. Not politically correct eh?
