Sad News Dave Jenkins

Sad news is that Dave Jenkins has passed away (sometime last week).

Following on from my post his car crash was in May but last week a letter was sent from his family to one of our supporters stating that is was a case of when Dave would pass away rather than if.

For those who didn't know Dave he used to organise the away travel about 9 to 10 years ago.
I think he was on the committee of the old supporters association.

He was always smiling and happy and loved to follow football this included the Yeltz and his beloved Welsh national team as well as loads of other non league matches that he attended in order just to see a match.

Terrible news. Dave did a tremendous amount for the old supporters association and as John C said he always had a smile on his face and loved a chat about football at any level!

I also had the pleasure to work with Dave on occasions. He will be missed!

It is indeed very sad news always seemed like a nice chap. My abiding memory of him will be the amazing variety of phrases he used to come up with to shout at linesman! All very good-natured I hasten to add! A great character who will be missed.
