Players lounge

All good stuff on the official site about the new structure:-
"Supporters may have noticed that an extension has been added to the `Players Lounge` at The Grove. The ideal situation would have been to have demolish the players’ lounge (it is in a sorry state of affairs!) and have new brick built lounge in its place, (in fact plans were drawn up) alas, we had insufficient funds.
So instead the lean-to that was attached to the lounge (but only just!) has been taken down and a `porta-cabin` type structure put in its place giving much needed support to the remainder off the lounge, an apex roof added to try and avoid the rain damage suffered by the old building. The plan is that this will replace the old `container` cafe so fans can stay dry whilst having a cuppa and to move club shop along with serving match day drinks. Of course also remaining as the players’ lounge for their post match food! Funds allowing, this should all come together over the forthcoming seasons. "
I hope they meant forthcoming weeks.......
...... and then we'll build that hotel..........
It all looks very good, and makes the ground look a lot tidier. Should hopefully help make a little bit more money towards the playing budget.
