Great news to hear of this signing.
I cannot comment on Ben as I never saw him play. But his stats and the huge affection/respect everyone holds for him mean they are big boots to fill.
Lets hope Steve Weaver is the man.

I asked The Flyers Twitter stream about him and they replied -

"Steve is a great prospect for you, maybe a bit raw, but well worth a stab at a higher level.
Goes with our best wishes."

I asked a follow-up about games / goals etc and I'll let you all know if I get a response.

Confirmed- 32 goals and 37 assists last season for Lye town.

Let's hope he keeps that going then. Or half would be fine. Looking like a killer forward line next season.
