It is reported in the
Halesowen News that Neil Barnfield has signed dual forms with us and Evesham United!
How does that work?

Different competitions, you can sign for as many teams as you want as long as that rule is obeyed.
If he plays for us and never plays for them, great, but more likely he'll play the odd game for one of the teams and stay at the other the majority of the time. I know who I'd rather play for.......

Last season he also signed for Lye Town.
Very often when we release players, we retain their registration for our league.

Very informative - although still strange to my old fuddled mind!
Thanks to both HH and LLL for the explanations.

That's interesting. Just think, if he signs for another one too,he probably need never play another away game at all - he can simply play for whichever team is playing at home. Less travelling and more loyal fans applauding. Or maybe instead of supporting teams, we could just follow certain players around. Only kidding - after the loyalty they show clubs, that's not gonna happen is it.
