I just want to say a massive thanks to everyone involved with Halesowen.

The support over the last 18 months from everyone behind the scenes and the fans has been amazing. Im gutted to be leaving the club but I needed to take this opportunity before it was too late.

I wish the lads all the best for next season

All the best and good luck. I'm sure with your attitude and ability you are more than capable at that level if not higher.

I think the fact you've taken the time to explain yourself on here to the fans shows the affinity you have for the club. Good luck at Solihull Ben, nobody begrudges you the opportunity to play at a higher level your performances and attitude last season where spot on! Good luck

You will be sorely missed Ben. Not only for your goals, but for your level headed approach to the game.
You have been a major part in our club getting off it's knees after our sordid recent past, and in years to come when we are back on track I hope you will look back in pride at the massive part you played in it.
And I have no doubt that a two league jump will be well in your stride.

Was absolutely gutted when I learned of your departure (it was Carlin & me [poorly] singing "Please Don't Go" to you the last game of the season against Lincoln).

Having the time to register and post on here after you've left the club tells me how high you regard the club and its fans, so nice one.

I was really annoyed at first but putting myself in your shoes, if you didn't take the opportunity to play 2 leagues higher then you would have been kicking yourself in 4, maybe 5 years time and all the fans secretly knew it was inevitable that you would go.

Thanks for making it an exciting season and giving the fans the confidence to shout at the away keeper at games - "our striker only scores hat-tricks"
