I am not surprised that Ben has left us, and wish him all the best as he deserves to play on a higher stage, but I have to say I am disappointed that he has chosen Solihull !!!
OK it is 2 levels above, but I can't think of a more soulless and depressing club in the Midlands....... with crowds to match...

Very, very disappointing news. Good luck though Ben. Look forward to you returning ;)

It is a bit disappointing somehow that Ben's gone to those plastic Brummies, a bit like when Jimmy Rod went to R&D.

Anyhoo, I'm sure that he'll do well there, and I hope he does.

Now then Mr Hill, you'll have to sell some nylons to get the cash to buy the next Ben, although it looks like you've already got your eye on someone...

I fully understand Ben leaving and wanting to give it a go in the higher leagues. I would love to see Ben back at the Football Club no matter how soon or how long it is from now... But im sure he will have an ever lasting memory of his time here created by the fans. This can only make players want to stop at the club and make it hard for them to leave.

I understand he was gutted to leave.

I'm just so glad he didn't go to Stourbr*dge who were in for him again I believe. ;)

He would have been doing for Solihull what we would wish anyone would do for us.
Good luck Ben, you deserve success wherever you go not just for your goals but for everything you 've been at The Grove. One of true legends.
Hope to see you at The Grove again, playing or otherwise but perhaps not so hegamonic now ;)

Gutted, but can understand why, wish Ben all the best, will be almost impossible to replace but with the progression Mr Hill has made this season I am still confident we can continue to go forward and hopefully get into the play offs next season at least !
