Play-Offs

Post by yeltz85 » 27 Feb 2013, 16:09

Interesting thread re the play-offs...

http://stamfordafc.proboards.com/thread/3529/play-offs

Didn't realise Sutton had to play those difficult away games.

Everyone still has to play each other still so its open to anyone....

Assuming we continue this great run going and gain promotion, which league is next? Is it Evo Stik Division 1 North or Evo Stik Northern Premier? I have looked and cannot find where our league Northern League Division 1 Soutn feeds to.
Sorry if this is obvious but I didn't think I'd need to know until recently!

It would be Nothern League Premier or Southern League Premier, but its far to early to worry about that now.

If were not to get p*******, we could also find ourselves in the Southern because of the Eastwood factor, but thats entirely another matter. ( The asterisks are because I don't want to tempt providence)

Hi Rob, this may help.

Current step 4 positioning for next season (copy & paste), http://goo.gl/maps/b1LWn

This is the predicted line-ups for 2013/14 as they stand, http://bit.ly/OS8GoJ

Am I right in saying that if we get p******* we will go into the Northern as we only switched last year. I believe that when you are switched you can't move back within less than three years unless the club agrees. The northern have teams with fairly big attendances including FCUM, Chorley & Ilkeston.

Lets not face it, if we dont get promoted or even reach the play offs this season has been great and a much improved one from last. As Swipey said in another thread, you can see the players wanting to play for each other and for the club.

Thanks for that info about the 3 year rule. I hadn't come across that before.
