It seems, another example of the curse.
For the uninitiated.

Re: League & Fixtures 2014/5
After the season starts, there appears to be only one week before late November when there is no midweek game.
Also well over half the league programme may have been played by the end of November, although cup games may get in the way.
I know we'll be playing 5 more league games than last season, but the benefit of having a fit and strong squad would seem ever more important, especially before Christmas.

I'm just glad the fixtures are out... makes the promotion seem more real, if you get me.
Some mouth-watering ties ahead! Can't wait!

Re: League & Fixtures 2014/5
I think it's intentional and great from the league that a good amount of fixtures will be completed this side of Christmas. 1. For cup runs and 2 for weather. Fixtures soon pile up when the bad weather hits.
I'm sure there's a mentality of 'get them played when the weather is good'.

Re: League & Fixtures 2014/5
I think it's a good idea to play the majority of games before Christmas and before the bad weather hits. To be honest, I don't know why non-league football doesn't start earlier, say the first week of august and then have a winter break in January when the bad weather hits and more likely than not, the games get postponed anyway.
In regards to the fixtures, mouth watering ties against Stour on Boxing day (I really hope it's not called off) and Easter Monday.
Also looking to do Whitby away in March, possibly for a weekend away!
