Tomorrow we play v Germany friendly. Hope we will win. Most memorable win for me was 21-06-1988 in Hamburg 2-1 . I was also there in Hamburg. Always nice when you beat the Germans in their own country !

Hello my friends in Halesowen,
Bad news !
This weekend there will be no amateurfootball in Holland .
The reason that last weekend during a match from a youth team in Amsterdam a lines man is kicked to the death by three youth players (15 & 16 yrs old) from a club in Amsterdam.

I cannot believe it ! Where is the respect for eachother ? Especially when your practising and watching our favorite sport football ! Also for all our referee's and linesman who are also volunteers in their own free time. Their also making mistake's but aren't we all making mistakes in our life' s or making the wrong decisions ?

BBC main news reported on this awful event - there are no excuses for it, just another demonstration of the depths to which the human race can descend!
My personal sympathies to the family of the linesman involved.

It really makes you wonder why anybody does this thankless job. Thankfully people like yourself do carry on, so the rest of us can still enjoy our football. I know without good payment i wouldn't do it. I hope the bastards who carried this attack out get long, long prison terms, kids or not.
