Slough Town now play at Beaconsfield SYCOB, so that's another new ground. It's right next to J2 of the M40, so an easier trip than attempting a tour of Sir John Betjeman's Slough town centre. I'm told it's not the best, but remember to make time to pay a visit to the excellent White Horse real ale pub nearby in Hedgerley.

Beaconsfield services on the M40 are by far the best in the country. With a Weatherspoons, Nandos, and around twenty other food outlets you could spend the day there. I'd go as far to say its better than Dudley. The footy ground is directly opposite so thats me won over. Southern all the way

That must be the best advertising campaign for a football club ever: we're near a motorway services ::)

When the move back south was confirmed, I was disappointed as many others were but having had a couple of days to think about it, I'm warming to the idea.

Plenty of old rivals to meet again, the derby too (guaranteed to have one on Boxing Day which I'll miss, going abroad for Xmas) and a few new places to visit.

Hopefully we'll get one or two seaside games early or late in the season. Really want to do either Weymouth or Truro for the weekend. Also a visit to Chips and Ham to see their fabled massive fanbase!

You never know, we might get FC United away in the cups yet.
