Peak of the virus is expected between start of and middle of June. It’s plausible they’re allowing large gatherings by August, but can’t see it much before then (obviously random man on the internet (me) is an expert on these things) so not sure how this is going to work.

Genuinely think we’re heading for situations we’d never have envisaged in our lives so who knows what’s going to happen?!

exactly fairweatherfan, nobody knows whats going to happen and nobody can tell what the bufoon running the country is going to come out with next, so why speculate ? All we can do is wait and see what happens instead of second guessing.

I think the issue now is how many playrs are going to go into self isolation and will clubs want to play matches without them.
If thats the case and it goes on for as long as projected I see no realistic chance of any leagues being concluded.
That then opens a massive debate regarding promotion/relegation etc.
Hmmm interesting times ahead for the various leagues to decide on!!

Not sure whoever is running any country has any idea of what the outcome of any of this will be. Hindsight will be a wonderful thing. People's health, livelihoods, strains on the NHS and economy, plus the timescale of it all, will all rightly be of far higher concern than any sporting events. If we can't second guess any of those things what's the point of even starting to surmise what will happen to football games?

El Seano, hi mate. How is your daily life being affected where you are?

Until last Thursday pretty much normal. Since then all schools, bars, restaurants, shops (except supermarkets), cinemas, parks, public buildings... have been closed. All events cancelled. A state of emergency has been declared.

The advise is to stay at home, and generally, apart from panic buying bog rolls in packed out supermarkets, people are following the advise. The streets are empty.

For UK, watch this space sometime next week...

Speculating because the alternative is putting up curtains...

Blimey. Just looking at some of today's updated figures in Spain makes for very uncomfortable reading. Guess that's what we've got coming. :-\
Stay well.

Surely, surely these organisations have a "if the season can't finish before this date then...." Rule which teams sign up to? Follow the rule, nobody can sue. Disaster planning.

It's NOT a disaster! Thousands of people dead IS a disaster! FFS.
