Not sure about 'nullandvoidment' but there's a whole lot of 'expunging' going on if you ask me.
The word has never been used so much.

They've now made one decision this week. Stop being greedy.

The Oracle's Non-League Show
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p097tlq2 gives some clarity on what "curtailed" means from the Vice Chair of the Southern League.
It means that it's over, but the stats can remain in the history books.
He also discusses the proposed restructure but with no conclusions yet, although the hint is that it may well change to having an extra Step 3 league.
It's the first 30 mins or so of the show and well worth a listen.
Eurwyn is on hand for translations. There's lovely.

I probably did not listen as carefully as you did, however I understood from his comments they were still talking about the extra league at step 4 run by the NPL not at step 3.
If that were to go ahead, we would be prime candidates to move from the 'M40 league' as some have christened it, to the 'M6 league'.

Ah, yes. I heard what I wanted to hear unfortunately.
So maybe a more localised league but at Step 4 for us next year. Better than nowt I suppose.
It will make a great quiz question in years to come though about a team that we spent two seasons in the same league as but never played....

I'd take that. Would much prefer to go North than South. Belper, Leek, Market Drayton, Chasetown, Kidsgrove - imagine heading to these sorts of places rather than Bedford and Dunstable. Please, someone make it happen.

PS - notice how I left out Ilkeston
PPS - the more I think about the more I seem to recall Chasetown being a bit of a dump but what the heck

The initial suggestion I saw included the following - pure speculation I know , the NPL running three league at step 4, one for the north, one central west, the other central east.
Potential central west members for what it is worth.
1874 Northwich
Bedworth United
Bootle
Chasetown
City of Liverpool
Coleshill Town
Daventry Town
Evesham United
Halesowen Town
Kidsgrove Athletic
Marine
Market Drayton Town
Newcastle Town
Prescot Cables
Runcorn Linnets
Rylands
Sporting Khalsa
Sutton Coldfield Town
Trafford
Widnes
