Today I've come to clean up the ground
It is so eerie not a sound
No chatter or laughter, no "lets have a cuppa tea"
No crap opinions - which means no D.P.
On the coach there's an empty seat
A shopping bag not tucked under D.P.'s feet
No prizes being eaten, no tricks being played
How we all wish Dave P could have stayed
It was at the Big Club in the sky
They needed a foreman with his skills to ply
Our friend D.P. bade us farewell
Our memories of you, we will tell
Rest In Peace Dave, will miss you
