I’m also going to stick £10 in every Saturday when we play, as opposed to attending the game - it’s got to be better to give to this cause than the current team.

Also it’s a better way to spend your money.

Karen/Colin will be putting the balance of the 50k that Lynch has asked for.
Andy, I agree with your view and comments, but the above is not strictly correct. Karen and Colin have said they are willing to invest, but they’re not making up the shortfall on any crowdfunding.

Whether this all pans out or not is yet to be seen, but in Karen and Colin we have two people who are clearly going above and beyond to save the club.
Sorry if I got my wording wrong. They are putting the initial proportion. We are making up the balance.

One thing that is very apparent now for those that are still worried, is that not one penny piece of what you spend at The Grove goes to the Lynch family. Club shop, bar, food, nothing, it all goes straight back into the club.
So as long as that Mickey mouse badge isn't put on the burgers and beer, spend away! ;D

Just noticed a donation from John, a Wimbledon supporter! What a magnificent gesture from a fan of a club who knows just what its like to be in a predicament like ours.

Couple of questions that might help/encourage others. Ive just tried the just giving page and it asks for a password. what is this password? Like most people yesterday who were making their pledges directly i will go down and do the same now. Also is it going to be possible to see a running total alongside the just giving site to let people know that it is going well?

Andy, I think the password is only if you've previously signed up. You'll have to create an account. Not sure if you can just pay as a guest?

I don't mind keeping folk up-to-date on here.

I saw the donation from the AFC Wimbledon fan. I've posted the link on an Albion site I use and also an FC Utd forum, as well as several Facebook groups. Hopefully some folk will see and chip in.
