I suspect not.
A new Chairman is different to a new owner - to draw a "normal" business analogy, one is Chairman of the board and the other is the major shareholder. They don't have to be the same person.

But what that means for the future is unknown. Also, what it means for the present, regarding whether the Board votes democratically for decisions with the Chair only having the casting vote, or whether any decision is made based on shareholding will depend upon the structure and articles of the company.

It's probably unfair to expect the new Chair to clarify any of this before she's had two minutes in the role, and it may also depend upon the outcome of Steve's appeal and whether this has a bearing on his family's desire to remain involved.
