Ah, quite right.

According to news on the official site from May, the following all signed -

Ben, Danksy, Iyesden, Kristian, Joe Hull, Macca, Tonksy, Asa.

Now, if we're to be strictly pedantic (the best kind of pedantic...) they would have signed Southern League forms at that stage and would have had to re-sign Northern League forms when we were switched back.

But, I would think that we're safe to assume that those, now in Bold, are signed.

Asa Charlton
Iyseden Christie
Mark Danks
Kristian Green
Ben Haseley
Joe Hull

Joel Kettle
Neil Mackenzie
Peter Till
Tom Tonks

Leaving the following that we're not sure about, but who I'd split into

Probables

Aaron Forde
Aaron Griffiths
Jean Michel-Gueyes
Sam Pearson
Matthew Sargeant
Robert Thompson-Brown
Curtis Tilt
Elliot Turner

and possibles

Eric Bowen
Brendan Kelly
Chris Lait

I've been at the ground quite frequently of late when the players have been there for training. The only players I haven't seen are Kelly, Bowen and Gueyes. I'm not suggesting they won't be there next season or haven't been training I just haven't seen them. I would assume that the players you mentioned who maybe haven't been confirmed will sign. Like Penney (who has gone to Tividale) you'd probably hear more if they'd signed for someone else. I can't imagine that if they weren't signing they'd still be around to be honest.

My understanding are the league actual forms could not be signed until the teams had been confirmed at NPL meeting. So pictures of Ben signing were not league forms but intent or club forms.

Been to a couple of working parties JMG or Brendon not seen, Christie was there last week.

Robert Thompson-Brown confirmed as signed for next season.

Looked lively last week at Romulus, and gives us some genuine competition upfront with Ben, Isedyn, Danks and Till all forwards or able to play upfront. Look forward to seeing him at Wulfrunians on Saturday.

Sounds like a very promising signing from that description. I'm looking forward to seeing him play

Looked useful against Stourport. The squad's looking good.

Very strong indeed.

Goalkeepers: Sam I think will keeping pushing Sarge for a place this season.

Defenders;. If Oliver signs, we'll have cover at LB or the opportunity to play with wing backs. Kettle looks a very useful cover at RB and will in my opinion slot in well at CB if Hull or Tilt have an injury or loss of form. He could well even replace one of them.

Midfield; ;Last seasons remaining five midfielders Griffiths, Tonks, Macca, Forde, Turner will have to play out of their skins to keep out Till who is a massive upgrade in quality from Guyes. The half played by Bragoli against Stourport was impressive too. We have a really strong midfield, and choosing a midfield four from that lot might be difficult, maybe JH will look at playing five in certain games.

Forwards: Danks, Haseley, Christie and the impressive Thompson-Brown will definitely give us goals next season.

I've been impressed this pre-season that we're actually playing less direct. Our ball retention seems better and we've created plenty chance by playing crafted balls in between and behind defenders.

I don't think it is as much competition for places but rather choices that JH is looking at, because with a relentless two games a week between kick off and the end of November a mix and match squad could cause some surprises in this league

It does look promising, but I rarely take not of pre-season matches for a variety of reasons. Not shooting those who have played well down or anything.

I'm pleased we've managed to hold on to all key players from last year. That's already a great start. Plus additions who do look promising.

I was already looking forward to this season, I just can't wait now. Touch wood Ben won't be missing for a large part or this season like last, another bonus?
