Re: What would be great but realise it's difficult / expensi
A forum user called videomon used to upload videos about 3 / 4 years ago.
I believe he gave up because he could not watch the match properly and also it was time consuming editing and uploading the action.
Some memories from the dark days (including Noggin + others on their ladders outside during the boycott) :
Anyone spot Mr M**s*n in the family section?

I like what Tipton Town do. They post videos with interviews of players/managers just after a game.
Also, I'm trying to do video highlights (I tried to do it the other Saturday but it sort of back fired as when they scored I missed the goal) on my Youtube channel. I'll try and do it on Saturday.
I now agree that, yes, live video streaming would stop people from coming to the game so that's out of the question.

I don't want to film the game, but I would be more than happy to run interviews with both players and manager, if you like (I just need a camerayeltz85 wrote:On a seperate note, would be great to show the goals after the game/ have interviews with the manager/players etc.
Its comes down to the same issue once again where we need a volunteer to take on the role etc. Can't rely on those that work so hard already.

I think getting someone to video the game as a volunteer will be difficult as they'd need to not watch the game. Let's be honest, we all want to do that.
Maybe there is a media studies student at Halesowen College or one of the Universities that require some 'work experience?'

Updates last night were absolutely fantastic. Cracking stuff to those involved both on here and on Facebook.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here. I've done the twitter feed very occasionally and it is HARD. You have to be accurate as well as quick. There are even se grounds where you can't even get a signal, so at first hand experience the updates we get we are very lucky.
I tried a kind of running match commentary on twitter at Newcastle town last season and I actually missed most of the game staring at my phone.
When we are a bigger and better club then maybe we can look onto better updates. As for now, the fundamentals such as line ups, goals and subs are adequate as I agree with guesty that if people want to know how we're getting on on games… attend.
However, if someone is prepared to put their own the and money into a posh video feed, then fair play!

I tried in Tuesday to take pictures and video on my phone Smasung just before half time. It failed and then froze and I was unable to get it to work for texts and calls until the match was over.
If you search on you tube Halesowen FC there are several clips of action. Just ignore the jealous video from a sourbridge gas boy!
