Re: Hmm...
That's very good news.
You know it makes sense! I look forward to seeing you "get stuck" in next season.

Re: Hmm...
Sorry for the 'many' I was merely pointing out that others had moaned on this forum each time. Personally I think it's good news, you were one of the only shouters on the pitch a lot of the time last season and the younger players certainly need that as we were a quiet bunch and this league needs leaders.Bk81 wrote:Just wanted to confirm I am staying at halesowen fc , and for those who say I have been sent off "many" times I have been sent of 3 , twice for tackles and once for the hand ball against belper I don't tho k that's so bad on over 70 games for the club , but I am staying and want to build on last seasons progression

Re: Hmm...
I'm pleased; you put in a solid performance last season and coming over to shake the fans' hands after a hard fought away game (Leek?) was a nice touch. I've also been guilty of having a moan at you but that's a fan's privelege... next time I see you considering as you're much bigger than me I'll buy you a pintBk81 wrote:Just wanted to confirm I am staying at halesowen fc , and for those who say I have been sent off "many" times I have been sent of 3 , twice for tackles and once for the hand ball against belper I don't tho k that's so bad on over 70 games for the club , but I am staying and want to build on last seasons progression

Re: Hmm...
Good news B.K, nothing wrong with some crunching tackles, I used to love em, sometimes I think refs don't know the difference between a hard but fair challenge and a vicious, nasty one.
JH after a slow start, pushed us up from below mid table when some of us were mentioning the R word under Shaun Cunnington, gradually JH got us winning and at the end we just ran out of games, most of the team weren't JH's signings, he now has the opportunity to start from scratch, and hopefully with a good pre season we can start the campaign well, I am actually very excited, lets rock and roll !

Well good news! He has just re-signed and I was pleased to hear Paul Evans has also done the same, so there is something to be pleased aboutswipey wrote:I shouldn't put an omen on it but I hope Griffiths stays

Re: Hmm...
Good to see Kelly stopping I agree he\you grew as the season went on. I moaned when you got sent off early season when you nearly put the player in the Harry Rudge stand on the half way line when there was no reason and got a straight red and it looked like the previous season of 10 players on several matches not down to Kelly but under the Cunnington reign was about to start. With a manger who with his assistant both banned from the touch line start of the season for previous sending off themselves said about discipline "what can I do".
Colin Brookes\Pete's short reign no sending offs or yellow cards.
Gavin again did well at the back and what was asked when he was up front.
The paper version of Halesowen news as website found to be out of date says Colin Brookes is hoping that Barney will still and is setting up his own Scaffolding business.
I appreciate after all the losing voice and support we gave the players those who chose to go on here and post.
So good luck to those who have left and to those who stay and come in new lets all have a great season 2013/14 and WIN the league by the end of February get to the second round proper with a TV appearance of the FA Cup and the final of the FA Trophy beating Sourbridge on the way.
By the way see you all in less than 5 weeks now.
