Re: 24/25 Squad
I quite glad he hasn’t come really, not that it may have ever been on the cards.
Another old un up top probably wouldn’t have been the best mix, and his best days are behind him, although I acknowledge that he’s taken a step up (and will probably now get 20 by Christmas).
Plus, whilst it’s (delightfully) churlish to say that we’d never be able to wash the stink off him, it always does leave a bit of a funny taste.
And for pointlessly predictable trivia, anyone want to chip in with at least 5 other ex-Stour forwards who did make the the trip under the viaduct?

Kevin Harrison, Evran Wright, Henry Wright (am I cheating naming both)..... Szewczyk, (can't remember if he was at Stour pre us or Stafford but I'll throw him under the bus!)..........Richard Massey (essentially a midfielder but that large he could play in 2 positions at once)................... I'm struggling to be honest

Missed out on Luke benbow he’s gone to rushall Olympic am concerned about the lack of strikers and would love to see a back up goalkeeper signed a bit of competition for platty would not do him any harm

Re: 24/25 Squad
I'd drop Platty. He only has two arms and the modern game has evolved. I also think we should widen the goals and have two keepers in one team.
Still plenty of time for signings and as has been proved, loads who dont get game time is a recipe for discontent

On a continuation of the stink-washing theme, I gather that Solly will also be registered as a player to act as a backup goalkeeper if ever required.
