Re: Other games
Sporting Khalsa were involved in another high scoring game, albeit in the FA Trophy. They beat Dereham Town 6-5

Re: Other games
Well quite a turn up at Chasetown tonight and could have been worse for them / better for us. They drew 1-1 at home to Soham Town Rangers with a last minute equaliser (from leagues leading scorer Butlin). Could have gone top with a 3 goal win. So maybe our result against Wisbech wasn't quite as bad in the end. We shall see!!!
Leaves us top and them 2nd. Next Tuesdays match at Loughborough is huge for us as no one in the top 6 plays till Sat 16th Oct.

Re: Other games
The results were reasonably favourable today, although Ilkeston keep winning, but obviously that means Belper lost. Chasetown dropped points and Coleshill lost (although I think they're in a flattering position).
Ilkeston are the team to catch and their goal difference is worth another point. Their attendance topped 2,000 today. It was a top of the table local derby clash, but even so that's a big crowd, although I don't know if they were doing one of their offers.

Re: Other games
No offer, but Belper travel well and they’ve gone big on the old ‘first v second’ marketing. Interesting comments from the Belper manager about Ilson being like Man City and them being Championship in terms of budgets.juanillo wrote: ↑01 Jan 2022, 18:27The results were reasonably favourable today, although Ilkeston keep winning, but obviously that means Belper lost. Re: Other games
Results in other games today and Ilsen's postponement meant it was a big win for us. The 7 teams that had pulled away are being stretched out now to the point where it's looking more of a 4 horse race. Early days admittedly yet but we're still on track.
Different division, but was slightly disappointed Glossop's THREE own goals against Workington in the NPL West were not a hat trick. The one lad only managed two.

A great night at 9.25pm........ not so at 9.30.......
10 man Ilkeston won 2-1 against Loffbro at home after trailing early on. And Chasetown won 1-0 with a last minute penalty....... we move on. Its only going to get more nervy and we need to hold ours

Re: Other games
Although bear in mind that was against Yaxley (worst defence in the league) and they conceded 4 as well.
We surely won't slip up against them.

Ilkeston have another set of whipping boys on Saturday so there won't be much likelihood of closing the gap.
