The scheduled finish date along with the play-off dates look optimistic to me, what with all the COVID postponements to no doubt be added to by the usual build up of winter call-offs, I think the SL have got their head in the sand. Then again, they've got previous in such matters of stubborness

During January and February the NHS always finds it difficult to cope with the demands of the 'flu season. Even with potentially increased uptake this year of the annual 'flu vaccination, the vaccine variant used is not always reliable meaning that anything other than a very low level of c-19 bed occupancy will prove difficult to cope with in hospitals.
I was also advised by a long term 'flu researcher that that c-19 cases were fully expected to rise dramatically as soon as everyone retired indoors in autumn. The reality is that the upturn in c-19 admissions happened earlier than expected.
Therefore I would be surprised (pleasantly surprised) if there is any resumption before mid-February, but we live in hope.

The Isthmian League are planning to restart on the 19 December but have extended the season to May 22 with the play offs scheduled for the Bank Holiday

The madness of continuing with football at the present whilst trying to contain Covid 19 is encapsulated tomorrow in 4 games.
Fleetwood v Plymouth
Crawley v Carlisle
Halifax v Torquay
Yeovil v Hartlepool
The best part of 3000 miles travelling with stops or stopovers, and whole day travelling x 4 for the 4 away teams. What hope have we got?

OK, so according to The Oracle, and the clumsily-shaved Honey Monster in No 10, 4k spectators in Tier 1, 2k in Tier 2 from Dec 3.
But it's not known yet if "non-elite" will adopt this or stay with the previous capacities or create new ones.

I understood this slightly differently, the numbers given or 50% capacity whichever is lower, as YeltzDoc says though elite & non-elite clarification is needed.

I think that the local tier banding will be be the decisive factor for us in B63

I would have thought quite likely that we will be in Tier 3, which could mean our game at home to Berkhamsted being behind closed doors, and possibly Boxing Day game.Tiers are to be reviewed every 14 days
