Do baggies fans support the Wolves when they are doing well? Do Celtic fans wish Rangers well for a big game? Do Heathens fans hope the Dog Yeads win the Elite League?
Thought not!
So why expect Yeltz fans to wish Sh**bridge well or them to care about us?

Personally I don't give a toss what the Sh**bridge fans think of us, I don't really care what they achieve and love nothing more than seeing them get a real stuffing!
I am a Halesowen supporter and would rather concern myself with what happens within our own club, yes the past couple of years have been a disaster but we all know who to blame for that, yes it's a struggle at the moment and will probably be so for some time BUT things are moving in the right direction, you have to get things right off the pitch long before you reap the rewards on it. ;)

Hi guys I can understand both sides, in the current climate of small clubs entering administration and some unfortunate to go bust, it is good when attention comes down towards our level a bit, rather than be with the elite all the time, however like Zee Zee I dislike them to put it mildly, over the last year I have received various messages from fans of erm..... THEM wishing we would have gone out of business and the HA HA of relegation! This is obviously part and parcel of rivals and I accept this, they are having their day which they are enjoying, we will have ours, it might take a while, but all I would say and this is only my opinion of course, how anyone can jump ship and start going to watch them is beyond me ! I would much rather cut all ties with football as my conscience and pride just wouldn't allow myself to go to their Cricket pitch! So what I am saying is I hope they lose every single game for the rest of the season, get relegated then we stuff them next season! Wishful thinking I know I am not bitter or jealous of what they have done, I just think a bit of hatred towards your rival team adds to the spice and the tension especially on match day against them, lets face it when we were in the same league what was the 1st fixture you all looked for??? Enough Said.

Every dog has its day and it happens to be theirs at the moment.

I echo the sentiments of others in that I don't have any time for SFC and my concerns are about how we progress from the nightmare of the last couple of years which I believe we are slowly beginning to.

Lets turn this around and take the scenario that we'd played the Janners on Tuesday and won 2-0, how many SFC fans would have been so glowing in their praise? I think we all know the answer to that.

Local rivalry is local rivalry and it goes with the territory for you to not want the other lot to be doing well. If Wolves had gone down last season, how many Baggies would have shed a tear? When Blues went down on the same day, the Holte End were celebrating. I rest my case.

Yep i agree with all the comments about local rivalry and all that, but what sets us non league fans apart from the pro game is that no matter how much banter goes on between us and stour we can all still go to a game between the two sides without fighting each other............now that is worth its weight in gold

Thanks for the posts of support/anger/hatred lol. I regularly view this forum,as I do others. Have to agree with a lot of what has been said, I would hate it if this were the other way around (and have been around long enough to have tasted it having been below you in status for almost 20 years).

I admit, myself and a good many others laughed heartily at your relegation, that's rivalry, I certainly don't recall many well wishers from Halesowen when we went down to the MFA. What I can say though, is that the vast majority of us (those older than 18!) didn't find it amusing at what happened to your club off the pitch and were happy to see you survive. Seeing you relegated was funny (to us) but was also tinged with some disappointment at the loss of the derby games, let's face it, I don't know who you have on Boxing Day (Stourport I expect), but we're less enthusiastic about our 'big un' against Redditch!!

We're enjoying the good times at the moment, lord knows we've had our fair share of bad ones/walk outs/11th hour reprieves from extinction, but the wise of us are all to aware of how quickly the good times can be taken away.

Looking forward to meeting you in a league game soon (and hopefully not because we have gone down), where I will take great pleasure and offer much gloating in our victory's ;)

Yours in Sport...a Stour fan

Fair comment. I would never like to see Stour or any other club in the shite we were in, i just don't want to see you winning football games. ;D
