Could well be. But JH has complained on Twitter (and at the fans forum) that he's struggling to meet wage demands of many players. So he clearly is still in the market, and I would hope that the three players exiting might give him more scope to sign. Truthfully though- how big a squad do we need? 16 to 18 players is plenty, and from what I've heard about the youth team, sounds like they could fill a place on the bench if we absolutely needed.

Aren't the youth team under 16's (I apologise if I've got this wrong!) Don't think they would be ready for (or allowed to play) first team football.

Just an opinion Mr Lynch! Presumed budget would be cut due to lack of FA Cup prize money, falling gates etc! Wages have to be paid for by something. If less comes in, surely less can go out...

Not a great deal of quality. It's best the aforementioned players were moved on, ASAP.

There's still a number of players at this club who I share a similar opinion of.

At least the management also recognise this and at least these exits make way for new signings. Hopefully of a higher standard. I can't see us bringing in much worse!

It's a start. I hope to see more outgoings and even more new signings.
Didn't we sign Pearson and Charles from 'A higher standard'? You could argue a case for McGee coming from a higher standard. Yet Isaac Cooper who you wax lyrically about came from a lower standard.

Personally I don't care where they come from as long as they're better than Mr. Charles, Pearson and McGee. Even though players have gone, it'll be interesting to see who comes in to replace them. We're reasonably covered at CB with Connolly possibly able to play there when Parsons-Smith is back. Two strikers and a creative midfielder would be great, but then I guess everyone is after that! They don't come cheap either.

....And in the meantime, until a new forward comes in, i would love to see Joe Hull up front. I don't think anyone could argue he is our best aerial threat from set pieces, but from them he is working in a crowded area, imagine in open play good delivery from Connolly, Cooper or Griff, I'd back Joe one on one in the air. If it didn't work then he goes straight back to centre half, well worth a try i think. By the way has anyone noticed how much Joe's left foot has improved?

Oh heavens, no. I do have an awful lot of time for Joe Hull but he ain't a striker, that's for sure. I do recall he has been sent up top previously, and I can't say it paid off at all.

It's interesting that everyone wants a striker, and I take on board the top scorer stat that Johnny Bud provided on the weekend, but isn't Reffell like the best player we've got at the moment? And then people say- yeah but he needs a big target man to support him, which kinda supports the long ball tactics that they same people despise? If people want the ball on the deck, then you'd be better off getting some pace and trickery on the wings.

By standard, I mean standard of player. I don't give a toss what standard they've played at before and for who they've played for, previously. As long as they improve the squad and are an improvement on those who have left - that's all that counts, in my eyes.

An improvement of the three that left, shouldn't be too hard.
