Re: Just to say.....
Thank you Mike and The Big Pet Store for all you have done over the last few years including the sponsorship for Halesowen Town FC.
I hope we still see you at the matches.
Good luck to Halesowen Cricket club.
Nice to be in a town where they both have their own stadium.

Re: Just to say.....
Not sure in terms of Non-league if there'd be a 'rule' as such about us wearing a shirt that had an old sponsor on it. I could be wrong but I'd doubt at that level, not sure if the league would even know off the top of their heads or care for that matter, who sponsors us, just as long as we're about to field a team to be able to fufill our fixtures within the league.RaidenYeltz wrote:Sure there is a league rule that prevents us wearing a shirt with an old sponsor?dalevillain wrote:Thanks to Mike and The Big Pet Store for all that you've done for the club over the past 4 seasons and without doubt the club is in a much better now place than it was then.
I echo the fact about this seasons shirt, has been a pleasure wearing it with your logo on the front.
Which leads to the next questions....with a new sponsor to be announced, does this mean a new HOME and AWAY shirt for next season? I was under the impression that a new Away shirt was on the cards anyway as we've had the yellow one for two seasons now but will a new home shirt follow as well? Or will we continue to play in this seasons but just with a different sponsor on it?
Can anyone confirm?
Also, it'd be free advertisement for Big Pet Store when any potential new sponsor would have paid good money (hopefully) to be shirt sponsors.
Anyway, completely agree and understand your point about the fact any new sponsorship wouldn't be happy in us playing in any shirt with 'The Big Pet Store' on it, although that wasn't the point I was intending to make.
I was asking if we are going to have a NEW home shirt, by that I mean a completely different design and of course with a new sponsor on, or will we just keep this years shirt (as in the design) but just with a new sponsor on the front, instead of 'The Big Pet Store' - that's what I meant!
Of course the other point is, if we do have completely NEW shirts, will our shirt suppliers have to supply additional kits? As on some instances over the last few seasons we have had 'two' home shirts in effect. One being the current home kit and the other being the previous seasons home shirt. This has tended to happen when we have played on a Sat/Tues and haven't been able to have washed the kit in time to wear it twice so have had to go back to wearing the 'old' kit for a game. Again, from Raiden's point it hasn't mattered previously from a sponsorship point of view as both shirts have carried 'The Big Pet Store' logo on and of course in terms of colour, as still a Blue home shirt.
So here's a conundrum, say next season we play Nantwich at home on the Saturday in our brand spanking new home kit with 'XYZ Limited' on the front, yet then on the Tuesday night we play Blyth Spartans and can't get our kit washed in time, so have to revert back to playing in our previous home shirt, carrying 'The Big Pet Store' logo on the front. 'XYZ Limited' aren't gonna be happy as their logo is not going to be showing. So would that mean they will have to put more money in to avoid this from happening or would it be down to the club? Just a thought....

It's all getting very complicated over a shirt and a wash tub!

I'm sure the club will just replace both kits next season.

Thank you to the Big Pet Store for the years of sponsorship you have given the club. It has rightly put Halesowen Town FC on a secure footing to enable us to move to the next level.
All of the 1st team shirts will carry a new sponsor next season. We will attempt to replace the sponsor logo as there is a technique applied to remove the current one and put a new one in its place. We will also be enlarging the Stewardson Developments logo on the back as I am pleased to announce that they are continuing there commercial support of Halesowen Town next season.
If we are unable to replace the logo without damaging the shirts, replacements will be used. The reserve home kit is now three years old and looking a bit tatty so this may be replaced anyway.
This does not mean we are having a new style of home kit, just a replacement.
We will be having a new away kit for next season and further details will be announced in the summer. This will be available at a subsidised cost for a limited period of time again like last year, supported by Stewardson Developments.
Please keep an eye on the official website and social media for announcements in due course.

Re: Just to say.....
I think sponsorship like many a commercial venture is very much a two way thing.
A company invests time and revenue into a football club in the form of sponsorship not only to help that club out, but also to raise awareness and revenue of their own company through advertising.
It's good, that in an area with a catchment such as Halesowen that there seems to be very much a ''local'' spirit with regards to supporting the club.
And i'm sure the club is grateful for all forms of sponsorship, as i'm sure the companies that sponsor the club are grateful for the advertising and raising of awareness.

Re: Just to say.....
Is that from the clubs view or the view of the 'INDEPENDENT' supporters association??
