Top stuff !
Glad you created an atmosphere again - quite impressive from a small group.
Did you manage a rendition of the 'windows' song? - if not perhaps next time with the flag in the background?
Maybe Dave could take a few photos as well? :o
No we didn't do the windows song to be honest. My voice had gone by half time, it was a struggle to do "Bright Golden Haze" but there seemed a few more joining in yesterday which is great ! The more the merrier. We have a thing now where if someone starts a song at least a few of us will join in, as the person starting it can look saft !
You absolute fibber! You left me on my own yesterday! ;)

A great effort. And a suitable reward for Argus Ada's painstaking research in digging out the story all those years ago.

Apologies for maybe sounding thick here, but I've always wondered what is the 'window' song actually about?
I've been going down The Grove for many years and I know it's been a long standing song and I'm in by no means to slate the song or criticise it but just wondered what it is actually all about?

Maybe one of the 'old timers' can fill me in....

Some lunacy made up by Grant or maybe Henry.

Cemented in Yeltz folklore when Westy went to Dorchester dressed as a window.

Surely we have a picture of that somewhere?

Same source probably, if anything both slightly predate me, Westy, Ada, Frank or Poll can probably shed more light.

I've vague recollection of asking Frank at Wealdstone and he said one of your crew's Mom had the Oklahoma video on before he set out for a Yeltz match......I may be wrong

It reeks of Westy.
