It's great to hear positive remarks off the opposition fans about our vocals, and believe me I hate it when I am not present, but we love a sing song and to help the players, they were certainly up for it yesterday right from the off.

Glad you created an atmosphere again - quite impressive from a small group.
Did you manage a rendition of the 'windows' song? - if not perhaps next time with the flag in the background?
Maybe Dave could take a few photos as well?

No we didn't do the windows song to be honest. My voice had gone by half time, it was a struggle to do "Bright Golden Haze" but there seemed a few more joining in yesterday which is great ! The more the merrier. We have a thing now where if someone starts a song at least a few of us will join in, as the person starting it can look saft !

We are making flags which have links to the club, obviously there are different versions of how "The Yeltz" got it's nickname. Catfich obviously one of them, so I brought the Hungary flag and Rob did the letters !

A great effort. And a suitable reward for Argus Ada's painstaking research in digging out the story all those years ago.

Apologies for maybe sounding thick here, but I've always wondered what is the 'window' song actually about?
I've been going down The Grove for many years and I know it's been a long standing song and I'm in by no means to slate the song or criticise it but just wondered what it is actually all about?

Maybe one of the 'old timers' can fill me in....
