An excellent signing I think I remember possibly his first goal for the club either that or he certainly scored on a cold Boxing Day at Redditch. I seem to remember also that had been a few snow flurries and the game was in doubt this wasn't helped by the fact that the referee arrived late!

What level were we when he played for us? The kit looks like it's from the M*********n era?
Yes, Southern League Premier, so one step higher than our current level

A great show of intent from the club with these two signings in the last 7 days. going to be a cracking end to this season.

As I recall the reason the ref was late was because it was an 11 o'clock kick off and he had been told 3 o'clock.....He turned up about 11.45 with his tea and toast in hand ;D ;D ;D

If I remember correctly I believe his first goal was on his debut at Ilkeston Town in 2003 during a 3-1 win. A Southern Premier League (Step 2) game which today would effectively be at Conference North level.

The Mark Danks match that stands out for me is our 3-0 win down at Dover on a Monday night in March 2003 as we battled against relegation. Mark scored one of those goals and there was video footage on the Dover site at the time. There were 11 Yeltz fans there.
