I think what I was trying to infer was, they hadn't a feckin clue about non league football and Colin Murray is a twonk. ;D
That much better mate.

I deleted the other post and to be quite honest I am pissed off.
It wasn't that bad an interview.

Nope, it wasn't that bad. Just thought people would be appreciative of any publicity for the football club. This week have worked many hours on Express and Star, Brum Mail, Talksport, Halesowen News & social media sites along with our official website only for it to be slated. Not just by yourself. Any publicity in trying to attract people to our game is good publicity I would have thought. Last time I try and do it thats for sure.

I don't think my post deserved the delete. End of.

Talk to me tomorrow if you've got any issues.

Another thing (I've mentioned this a million times before) you'll never get any reward for doing all these things other than you're own love of the club. Most people don't have the time, I'm lucky enough to be able to sponsor etc so I do that where I can.

I certainly see anywhere on any post anyone slating the coverage you've put out there, if we have then I'm sure that wasn't the intention. Slating Colin Murray yes, not our own club.

Don't get so defensive, that's what's happened before (years ago) and it just puts people off as they think it's a closed shop. And we all know it isn't.

I've not seen anyone slating any promotions, unless I'm missing something.

These people are giving us free publicity and have read the forum before hand to try and grasp fans views etc. I'm sure they will probably read it afterwards also. Feel free to re-write your post...

I don't think anyone is knocking the efforts to publicise the club.
But, in agreement with posts elsewhere, Colin Murray does broadcast at a level for retards.
At least they didn't go down the usual route of, "Jumpers for goalposts, the players have REAL jobs!!, Luverly-little-fluffy-non-league-club watched by old men in flat caps" etc.
Which would have been a terrible slur on the club. Lutley wears a baseball cap.

I don't imagine the three people in the studio have ever seen our forum, the bloke who spoke to our Colin this morning maybe has. Colin Brookes himself was a little surprised at the short amount of time he was given considering when he first spoke to them they were going to ask all about the game, the club etc

I sense this arse in the hands approach I have appeared to be taking should remain away from the public forum. Apologies Guesty if you've taken this the wrong way, I don't doubt your hard work is helping attract us alot of extra followers even if they don't all come to the games on a regular basis. As Raiden says, no one involved with us is slating you. I might even have those programmes tomorrow if the kids haven't hidden them again!

You can be rest assured though I'll be tweeting Colin Murray personally to call him those things and ask him why he doesn't get the MOTD2 gig anymore :)

Just listened to it, far too brief IMO.

Wasn't as bad as I was expecting. They knew about Paul Evans' wedding but Colin thought we were playing tonight! Strange! lol!

Previously according to Yeltzdoc it is a closed shop and he is the dictator. ;D

Keep up the good work Guesty I think the evening mail piece is good.

I did not realise that the Chairman a Tipton was the Chairman at Gornal last season hence the manager connection.
