I don't mean in any way to discourage you, and I applaud both your intention to do the DofE award and to assist down the club.
The intention is that it is a sustained period with a single organisation rather than a few hours in different places. You need to check with the person supervising your DofE (teacher, Scout Leader etc) for whether helping at the football club would be acceptable because they need to agree your programme of volunteering before it starts.
However, I am sure that if you want to progress this via the football club, Ant or someone else will assist you in providing suitable information for your D Of E supervisor. I can also help you if you get back to me

and if the club is acceptable you could always do all 12 hours with us!
