Re: Carlton predictions.
I predict both Saturday and Tuesday nights games will be postponed due to the weather!
See you Easter Saturday weather permitting.

Surely, it's "Your Grace?"Noggin wrote:Thank you, My Grace
For your future reference I do actually prefer "Your lordship," as "Your Grace" refers to men of the cloth

Re: Carlton predictions.
The league rules formally require us to have an inspection on the day of the match I believe unless started otherwise. Hence having to announce yesterday they're was a pitch inspection.andy wrote:There doesn't seem much point in making the Carlton squad have to get together, as they would have to do so that they could get here on time, on the off chance that the pitch may be passed fit. Even if the snow does relent it will waterlogged surely. If there are still any global warming believers/nutters out there, please explain.

Re: Carlton predictions.
Thanks for clearing that up. It does seem barmy though to have to go through the motions when the outcome is only going to be one thing. As Carlton are not to know the situation here they would have had to prepare as if they were travelling, thus incurring a lot of unnecessary costs, which clubs at our level cannot afford.yeltz85 wrote:The league rules formally require us to have an inspection on the day of the match I believe unless started otherwise. I believe it is only the fastest goal in world cup qualifying history.Noggin wrote:I think you will find that San Marino hold the record for the fastest goal in international football history - against England toobeastyyeltz wrote:Is there any need? there's more chance of San Marino beating England tonight than this game going aheadyeltz85 wrote:Pitch inspection at 11am tomorrow.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Bottom of the class I fear. Just checked out my theory and I'm wrong. There are a lot of faster goals but one by Brazilian Fred that I thought was in an international was in fact a domestic game. Should have checked my facts first.
Sorry

I apologise for my poor typing, your Lordship. As your Lordship is aware, the honorific Your Grace is addressed to both Bishops of the Established church and Dukes.
I was under the impression that HMTQ had already granted Letters Patent to create a Dukedom in your honour so that you were dubbed Lord Lutley, Duke of Cradley. Maybe my source at Buck House was misinformed, but I so hope that my premature use of the title does not cause HM distress and lead to your further elevation being cancelled.
Your humble and most obedient Servant,
Noggin
