This is very sad news today

I remember Peter playing for England in the 1958 World Cup and at the Villa after he left the Wolves, he was a great footballer.

The Halesowen connection is that for several years after retirement, with his wife, he ran a shop round by the Church (Babyland?) . Early/mid 80s we bought items from there.
