I don't think a decision has been made as yet Brendan but me personally I would be happy if the players chose as its you who should have a song to get the fire in your belly and to get you in the mood to kick ass ! If the right song helps your performance by 0.2% it will be worth it, if we pick you may not like it and won't get you in the mood. Maybe if a song is chosen for a season then next season the players can get together and vote again as there is likely to be new players etc. I know the fans are important but it's not us that has to perform and win matches, it's one less excuse you players can use if we don't get promotion at the end of the season :D

What does anyone else think ??

After DJ's informative reply the sound system wouldn't be able to bash out the music to the level desired without replacing the whole lot.
I'll speak with him Saturday to discuss the pros & cons

The FSIF funds clubs of all standards to upgrade their grounds. If they want a new P A System (Or anything else in the ground for that matter), the management could always apply for one of these grants (If they haven't already of course)? Maybe someone should put it to JH?

Excellent suggestion and well worth pursuing (although I would suggest that toilets or dressing rooms might be a higher priority)

Unfortunately we do not meet the tenure requirements of this scheme at the moment (unless a new lease has been signed in the last 6 months that I was unaware of).

However, food for thought
