Re: Commercial Manager (Paul Collins)
i just want to say i am still THE commercial manager (see my contact details on website if you want to help)WKXA wrote:I would just have thought that if a new commercial manager has been appointed, the news would be officially announced by the club before the new man went public on twitter, an unofficial source of information as far as I'm concerned.
paul collins has approached me to help as stated on the website. he is rather enthusiastic and a lot quicker on twitter than guesty can possibly be on website (paul has got full time job etc) as far as `unoffical source` goes so do we only have to advertise `sponsor` opportunities on the website? the forum? didnt know that was the best way to get business sponsors..thats where ive been going wrong, ive even been known to put adverts in the `unofficial source` local papers!
paul collins is not the commercial manager, he is a volunteer trying to raise much needed funds for the club
working with me as are the supporters who put match day posters in shops/help with ground maintenance/organise away coaches/spray the weeds etc non of whom have been `officially` announced through any `source` (but you know who you are and thankyou all)

Re: Commercial Manager (Paul Collins)
Fair enough, I think the confusion has arisen over the fact Paul Collins himself clearly stated on his Twitter account that he was the new commercial manager, which seemed strange without the club issuing a statement to that effect.
Again, best of luck to him and I imagine all help commercialy or otherwise is needed.

at last! someone`s realised `important role within the club`! please take note (i may even win next seasonsYeltz1987 wrote:Thanks for this.
It just seemed preemptive to start publicly announcing plans on a non official club social media page without everyone knowing about such an important role within the club....

Re: Commercial Manager (Paul Collins)
Its strange how people from the Leamington area occasionaly pop up on our forum to express interest in the affairs of our club, I fully expect rarthetiger to raise his head once more.
