Apart from the awards for his goal scoring achievements, Ben deserves an extra award. The example he has set with his attitude when decisions have gone against him, and the team, is a refreshing change from
the often seen belligerence of others.
Ben never shows a sign of petulance, or mouths off at the officials. he just gets on with the game and his job of scoring goals.

A role model for any aspiring young player!

Hear hear!

I've posted about this before but did hear Ben utter the naughty 'F' word when a Brigg Town defender seemed to stamp on him on the edge of the penalty area. Ergo ref screamed back at him (from the centre circle where he lingered all match) "you stretched for it too"
Ben was somewhat bemused and ran it off.

Cracking bloke
