Snow Removal

Post by yeltz85 » 27 Mar 2013, 10:15

For all those who want to see some football this weekend,
In order to give Saturday's game against Brigg Town the best chance of going ahead the football club require people to help shovel snow from the pitch and surrounding areas. The main gates will be open on Thursday 12am-5pm and on Good Friday 11am-5pm. We need as many bodies as possible with snow shovels/brushes etc to make this possible. As an incetive hot drinks will be on offer to keep you all warm when moving the snow.

the players are at the grove tomorrow night (thursday) between 7 and 9pm to help clear snow from pitch and as you can see they would like as many supporters as possible to lend a hand and together we stand a good chance of getting the match on!

I should be there.

The pitch was half covered today when I went down. Hopefully will continue to melt on Thurs and Friday. Just need to move it to make sure the pitch doesn't get waterlogged.
