Ground grading - not an equal playing field

Post by Yeltzbaby » 24 Jul 2025, 14:54

Slightly confused. How do a few clubs get away with playing at step 3 with absolutely inadequate facilities when most have to plough thousands of pounds and jump through numerous hoops to sustain their level 3 status.

Namely Stourbr*dge and Alvechurch Getting away with murder regarding their facilities season on season.

Simply not fair on other clubs.

Just saying

Ive absolutely no idea about this but i wonder if its like what happened to Kiddy in 1994 when they were refused access to the football league on the seats in the ground whereas other clubs still in the football league managed to stay in

Lye Meadow was a shit heap when I regularly played junior football there thirty years ago, it's still no better all these years later.
