Is this unprecedented for us? I should imagine Paul scored 13 in 8, but 3 hatricks in 4? Come on Chas, stop dreaming of Small Heath and let us know.

As always fascinating stats LLL, thank you.
So it appears that Dave Timmington, Paul joinson and Steve Piearse have all scored consecutive hatricks. Ronnie Dugmore got 3 hatricks in a month but not sure if any were consecutive without a fixture list. Steve scored his 5 hatricks for us in just over 2 months! Until yesterday though, nobody had managed to score THREE hatricks in FOUR games. Well done Ben!!!

Now i know you Villains love to live in the ancient past but in my 48 years on the planet only 1 player from either of the sides has topped 100. One of your lot? Nah, the mighty Trevor Francis.

Blimey, 2 Fives and 2 hatricks in 7 starts. Amazing. Yet still never got 3 in 4 games. So Ben's out on his own then!

The fact that I find amazing is that Ben has now scored 43 goals in just 50 games for the club. There cannot be that many who have started their goal runs so quickly.
