Bedford Town won their play off today so expect them to be in our division next season.

The gradual shift southwards continues, not going to be many teams further North than us in our league next season

Not that I’m hoping for a transfer to the NPL of course 😀

I always say the playoffs are brutal - let's not forget that we were only a greasy-gloved blunder from suffering a similar fate last season. All four of the playoff finals at Step 3 yesterday went to the away team. I always think that the pressure exists on the home side - not just due to the crowd but also because of finishing closer to automatic - and I think fitness must be tested by having to play both the semi and the final so soon.

The forecast is for Telford to stay with us next season, and they'll be looking to go one better (with a good likelihood, you'd have to say). Wouldn't be a bad thing for us if they got switched North, but I suspect they'll be dropping the political anchor to stay in the Central.

I too suspect that Telford will want to stay South.

How much of a threat they are may depend on how much money they had last year was a continuation funding from sponsors, stakeholders being continued at NL levels for a single year. They may experience a drop-off in funds for the coming season. Who knows?

No doubt an "other-club-budget-expert" can enlighten us all.

Looking on the Bromsgrove twitter to answers posed at their fans forum it was stated that their budget has been tweaked, going up by 20% for Paul Smith to attract better players

Slightly connected to this thread, when do we find out the actual line up and when are the fixtures expected to be released?
