Odds for the new season

Post by DJ » 28 Jul 2018, 21:54

Here are the latest odds for the new Southern League Premier Division Central 2018/19 season:

King’s Lynn Town 11/2
Kettering Town 11/2

Tamworth 8/1

Rushden & Diamonds 9/1

Leiston 11/1

Stourbr*dge 14/1

Royston Town 16/1

Alvechurch 20/1
Rushall Olympic 20/1
St Neots Town 20/1
Stratford Town 20/1

Banbury United 25/1
Bedworth United 25/1
Biggleswade Town 25/1

Barwell 28/1

Halesowen Town 33/1
Hitchin Town 33/1
Lowestoft Town 33/1
Redditch United 33/1
St Ives Town 33/1

Needham Market 40/1

Coalville Town 50/1

The bookies thoughts were reasonably correct last season with Altrincham as favourites and the longest odds on Sutton Coldfield followed by the Yeltz. However, the odds on another local team proved far too optimistic (as they may well be again this season).

If we finish that low down, I'd consider that a very poor season, and we'd have underachieved.

Well the bookies have got it right!

Only 2 games in, I know, but Needham Market 2 out of 2 and 8-1 winners last night

Have these odds changed a lot over the two matches?

Leiston won by 8-1 last night. They've got Banbury next.

Bloody Hell ! this thread is rapidly turning into ShoutShite, sorry TalkSport radio ::)

I'm sure one or two of us can still remember when football was about football and not how to line the bookies pockets. Unlike TalkSport.

I had 3-1 on that you’d say that.

They can't be as bad as the BT commentary was for the Ashes? Can't they?
