Re: twitter ye not
But you're basing this tweet on no particular evidence though.
This ladies tweet is sour grapes based on the no. 9 from Stalybridge been booked for not giving the ball back. And his team getting involved in a ding dong about it. Johnny Bud was there last night so maybe he saw this alledged incident involving a non-director of the club. I didn't and after the game their supporters were extremely nice to us and said it was good to see loyal fans coming all that way and how pleasant we were. Obviously didn't speak to me long enough......

Unfortnately my updates were based on what I saw on Twitter as I was in work until six so could not make it due to the joys of the M5 / M6.
But from my living room sofa I could clearly see that their number 9 was totally at fault

To whom it may concern - if the cap fits wear this one.
If the football at The Grove is so awful and the behaviour of the management team and fans, both at home and away, is offending your social and personal principles there is only one answer, if you endeavour to be true to your personal standards, isn't there?

Lutters, it's already happening! So many people are not going now it's frightening. When I think of the people I used to attend games with barely NONE of them attend anymore. I would bet that most long term fans would say the same. Drive people away and they will not return. I'm sorry but the team is shite, has been for a number of years, and the behaviour of people that are involved with this club AND supporters, can in my mind no way be condoned. I don't see why people should put up with this sorry state of affairs and if we all didn't go what would happen to the club then?

Whatever the club, I don't think the answer is to tell fans to clear off it they don't like what's going on; it gives those in charge 'carte blanche' to carry on with little accountability. Look what has happened at Coventry, Orient, Blackburn, Blackpool (despite promotion), to name just a few, where the supporters views counted for very little.lutleyyeltz wrote: ↑28 Sep 2017, 08:58To whom it may concern - if the cap fits wear this one.

As Andy has said, fans are already drifting away, and the chances of picking up casual fans in the current situation is virtually non-existent.
Also, you yourself wrote that no club with our record would have kept faith in the managerial team and alluded to dark forces at work.

There is one contributor to this forum who goes out of their way to pick on anything that reflects badly on the club.
While I agree that long time fans are not attending games anymore I, personally, get fed-up with the constant barrage from one source in particular.
Just my opinion, of course.

How you can condone the abuse and behaviour of certain people is beyond me. What exactly gives you the right to tell somebody not to come anymore? Has it ever occurred to you that maybe I wouldn't have anything to moan about if the problem got sorted?lutleyyeltz wrote: ↑28 Sep 2017, 13:31There is one contributor to this forum who goes out of their way to pick on anything that reflects badly on the club.

Instead of telling me that I shouldn't go anymore, which like Juanillo says is not really acceptable, maybe those people who behave appallingly should be banned if they aren't willing to change their ways. Have you ever considered that?

I guess I have two questions both honestly asked as I do not know the answers.Yeltz27 wrote: ↑28 Sep 2017, 14:35How you can condone the abuse and behaviour of certain people is beyond me. 1. Who would carry out such 'banning', if the answer is known has evidence been placed in front of them to act upon ?
2. And I recognise sensitivity here on a public forum, who are these people requiring such punishment? Sadly or perhaps gladly on my part, being a social media Luddite, my only Twitter use is the official site during games for goals teamsheets etc.

Of course Yeltz27 is being a bit extreme and banning is impractical. But just because he annoys you doesn't mean you should ignore what he is saying. I think he goes over the top because of the frustration we all feel at the mismanagement, the lack of accountability and, yes, the behaviour of a number of fans and officials.
