Paul Evans/Simon Flower

Perhaps it's more than a little ironic that until his recent injuries Paul Evans' displays had made him a strong contender for Player of the Season but it's Simon Flower who has mainly been in goal during our current excellent run of results and he's kept a clean sheet in 3 of the last 4 matches. That's a sharp contrast to last year when our defence were leaking goals all over the place and Simon played in several of the heavy defeats. I bet he's got a smile on his face at the moment...keep up the good work Simon and likewise the rest of our defence

I was impressed with Flowers' display against Big Cleavage; very vocal, alert but too self-deprecating regarding his goal kicks which I thought were good considering the windy miller conditions
