Good Morning Gents,
The players have organised a fundraising event for Dan after the Whitby game 3rd October.
They will all be getting themselves sponsored and then waxed after the game in the bar (retweeted by Yeltz Fans on twitter)
I have been informed that they will be leaving some spare forms at the bar starting Saturday for any fans or club members who are wanting to help and also get involved.
Having heard some of the numbers involved I think the overall cost of Dans treatment is well over £6000.
I presume that after the game the 2 signed shirts which were put forward by one of our generous fans will be raffled off also.
I also believe that the club will be organising a bucket collection at the Stourbr*dge game aswell.
All these are fantastic and will hopefully go some way to help a young man giving his all for our club.
Hopefully we can all pull together in these difficult times on the field and really pull together off it!!!!

Re: Daniel Platts Fundraiser
Great cause, will definitely donate.
Will also give our support from Yeltz TV, media wise. We can film the waxing perhaps, put it out on YouTube with the donation link, maybe fans who don't get chance to go to games will see it and decide to donate from there?

Re: Daniel Platt's Fundraiser
After the players have done their bit for Daniel Platt, I would like to invite anyone interested to attend a poker night on that same night Saturday October 3rd, this will be £10 to enter, beginners more than welcome as well as the more advanced, a free raffle ticket is included in this, also we are hoping to put on some food. We are hoping to get the games started at 730pm.
For those that do not wish to participate in the poker, a table football competition will be organised (numbers permitting) the likely cost of this will be £5, it might be in singles or doubles depending on numbers.
Anyone interested in either activities please PM me so I can sort out numbers to organise.
If neither activity is for you, you can always just pop down for a drink and socialise, a bucket will be floating around in the JG lounge for any spare change you may have. Remember it's all about putting a smile on Platty ! Hope to see loads of you there.
