Working Party Saturday 20th June

Post by FOTGSA » 16 Jun 2015, 21:33

Evening all.

Saturday will soon be upon us and that means Working Party time down at the Grove.

August is getting ever closer and still plenty of jobs to do around the place.

We'd love to see a really good turn out on Saturday, and looks like the weather will be on our side this week.

Your help so far, and going forward is really appreciated.

I think a few folk were reluctant to come out last week because of the weather which was a shame with so much indoor painting still to be done. A big turn out on Saturday will hopefully break the back of a lot of the jobs which means as the season approaches we can do the piddly little jobs.
We have 450 people regularly attend The Grove, if each of them gave just one hour of their time it would make a HUGE difference! You don't need to be particularly skilled, even I can work a paint brush or roller and there are folk there who can get on and do the more skilled work.
Hope to see a few 'new' faces on Saturday!

Another decent working party despite the awful weather a second Saturday on the trot.

It was that fine rain that soaks you through.

Many thanks to all those who attended, amazing how fresh areas can look with just a lick of paint.

We'll very soon be in a position to hold some working parties during the day and evenings during the week as well as weekends.

Any free time you have we'd really appreciate seeing you down at the Grove.

We'll keep you all posted on here and through Social Media.

Thanks again,

Dave.
