I'd bloody love us to get a plastic pitch, only to see the look on John C's face when he rocks up to the first game of the season.

If it's south there would be 4 local matches within easy reach: the no 9 derby, Redditch, Stratford and Leamington. Kettering is not too far and when comparing south west with north west the M5 tends to be less snarled up than the M6.

Also if it's 'easier' like several reckon (though not certain it is), it would be another reason for moving back.

I have to say that looks pretty much as it should be.

Interestingly, I was surprised to see we only played 5 away midweek league games last season at FC United, Belper, Witton, Rushall and the rearranged game at Frickley. Not much more traveling than the southern for midweek games assuming they'd do the sensible thing and give us Redditch, Stratford, Leamington, Kettering and one other...obviously keeping the lesser lot at the end of the No9 terminus for bank holidays at Easter and Boxing Day.

On reflection the southern may not be as bad as I thought.

FA League's Committee meet on the 14th May so the projections will be out shortly afterwards.

Truro have asked apparently to be placed in the Conference North!

Better traveling up the M5/M6 than across to Norfolk etc apparently.

A) I doubt that's true.

B) It won't happen anyway.
