As some of you might know we have also put out an advertisement for people to apply to become commentators for our Yeltz TV content.
We have a few people interested on the FB post but no replies except for one lad on Twitter.
I picked a clip roughly 7 minutes long of the build up and aftermath of Haseley's goal against Stamford. I asked him to commentate it the first time of watching it, completely live. I must say aswell that it is a huge positive so far. He recorded it on a microphone on his headphones and that sounded okay, a proper microphone would really help. I told him he could just refer to players as their shirt numbers and his general chat and knowledge was very decent.
There was a bit of 'dead air' which wouldn't occur with a co-commentator, and isn't really a problem for YouTube highlights. It doesn't sound great in a live 90 minute clip having gaps, but when we select the action we want to show then he would be speaking at that point so the 'dead air' would be eradicated on our videos.
Definitely going to be a massive improvement to our content if this all goes to plan. Stay tuned guys.
